Hogsmeade was right crowded today! Didn't realize there'd be so many about like. Was able to get to Zonko's and Honeydukes as well as find some things for Bridget's birthday which is coming up in a bit. At least I was able to be a bit productive and all. I'll likely have to send enough chocolate for the lot of them though just to keep them from whinging to me about playing favorites and all that rot.

I'm sure I'll be getting post from Rylee and Peyton too soon about how I ought to write them more and what a horrid brother I am to them for leaving again. Of course, when it was time to go they were practically pushing Orla and I through the door as they were right sick of us. Silly lasses ought to make up their minds and all.

Da's going to be right chuffed about Quidditch though. He figures it's as good as playing footie and it'll keep me fit and trained for the season come June. Mam tried to tell him that I ought to take a Summer from playing footie to figure out just what it is that I want to do once I'm out of school, but he wasn't hearing none of it. S'usual Da though. Mam just worries is all, but I'll be all right. Orla and me'll get a place somewhere close to the farm like and we'll be able to help out when we need.

I really ought to get started on that Defense essay though. Mam'll throw a fit about that if I don't keep my grades all right and the like. Speaking of, does anyone have the notes from Potions?
